The Celler Laurona began its voyage in 1999. It was recently acquired by Josep Mª Mainat, Marcos Santana and Toni Cruz, remaining in the society René Barbier (Clos Mogador owner) and the newly incorporated Fernando Zamora (Universitat Rovira i Virgili professor), both enologists from Celler Laurona since its inception.

LAURONA has been included twice in the top 100 most competitive wines, according to the Wine Spectator: 2000 and 2003 harvests magazine.

Also Robert Parker, known critic, has given LAURONA a high punctuality in different seasons.
